In a joint effort to care for the environment and in line with Global Sustainable Development Goals, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, through its leading brands GT Radial and IRC, proudly supported a beach clean-up activity at Marunda Beach, North Jakarta, on Saturday, November 25, 2023. This initiative was a collaboration between the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), together with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (IMM) and the Civil Engineering Student Association (IMS) of FTUI.
The activity garnered high enthusiasm among FTUI students, hoping to spark further collaborative environmental actions within the university community. This social event is a testament to solidarity, with participation from over 100 students from morning till noon. "This activity is very positive, and we hope it will continue in the future," commented Allya Khairunnisa, Head of Social and Environmental Affairs at BEM FTUI 2023.
